Best Time for the 9-Day Zimbabwe Safari

Zimbabwe can be visited throughout much of the year, although different seasons provide different experiences.

The dry season is particularly attractive for wildlife viewing because animals often gather around available water sources and vegetation becomes less dense.

The wetter months bring greener landscapes, seasonal changes and excellent birdwatching opportunities.

For travelers combining Victoria Falls, Hwange, Great Zimbabwe and Matobo, the best travel period can also depend on your priorities, especially whether wildlife viewing, waterfall conditions, birding or photography is the main focus.
