Your experienced trackers will search for signs of the gorilla family while your ranger guide leads you through the forest.

The duration of the trek varies depending on the location and movement of the gorillas. You should therefore be prepared to spend several hours in the forest.

Along the way, you may encounter forest birds, butterflies, monkeys and a wide variety of plants and trees.

  • Resting
  • Grooming
  • Playing
  • Caring for their young
  • Interacting with other members of the family

You will spend up to one hour observing the gorilla family once located, following the applicable park regulations and instructions from your ranger guides.

This is an extraordinary wildlife experience and one of the most memorable encounters you can have in Africa.

After your gorilla experience, trek back through the forest to the park headquarters.
