Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National.
- Morning/Flight: Our guide will pick you from your Hotel and transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your internal flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park landing at either Kihihi (For the north and Eastern parts of Bwindi NP) or Kisoro Airstrip (For the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- Afternoon and Lunch: Upon landing, our guide/vehicle will transfer you by road to your respective overnight Lodge. You may choose to fly in the morning or in the afternoon. Morning flights depart Entebbe for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at 7:45am while afternoon flights depart Entebbe at 15:30pm. For the southern part of Bwindi NP, there is only one morning flight that departs Entebbe to Kisoro Airstrip daily at 7:45am.
- Evening: You will spend your evening at Leisure, you can opt to visit a community or nature walk
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Lodge: Four gorillas lodge /Gorilla leisure Lodge (Midrange) or Buhoma Lodge /clouds mountain gorilla lodge (Luxury)
Flight time: One and a half hours.
DAY 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Morning/Briefing: Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking at 7:45 am.
- Trek and Observation: You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.
- Afternoon: You will later have your packed Lunch before returning back to the Pak Headquarters
- Evening: You will spend the evening relaxing at the Hotel, Later have dinner and overnight
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Lodge: Four gorillas lodge/Gorilla leisure Lodge (Midrange) or Buhoma Lodge /clouds mountain gorilla lodge (Luxury)
DAY 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Morning/Transfer: You will start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park is western Uganda. The journey will take you through Kabale with its rolling hills, Bunyaruguru popularly known for its crater lakes.
- Afternoon and Lunch: You will have Lunch at a Local Restuarant after crossing the border into Uganda, Proceed to enjoy a stunning view of the rift valley as you enter Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- Evening/Accommodation: You will arrive at your Lodge for a short relaxation before heading to Kasenyi Plains for an evening game drive. On your game drive, you will have an opportunity to sport several animals including antelopes, buffaloes, Elephants, and if lucky big cats like lions and leopards. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Lodge: Buffalo Safari Lodge (Midrange) or Kyambura Gorge lodge/Honey Bear Bush Camp (Luxury)
Drive time: 4-5 hours.
DAY 4: Game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
- Morning/Transfer: You will be picked from Kigali International Airport/Any Hotel in Kigali to start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park is western Uganda. The journey will take you through Kabale with its rolling hills, Bunyaruguru popularly known for its crater lakes.

If you are booked on an afternoon flight, you may choose to do a game drive or go for an optional chimpanzee walk in Kyambura gorge before flying back to Entebbe
